Mrs. Lowe has two families: her husband and their three daughters, ages 21, 18 and 11, and her 6th grade family of wonderful students and amazing teaching partners.
She currently teaches two core blocks of Math and 2 core blocks of Science, as well as a Math Skills Class.
Mrs. Lowe has been teaching in Steilacoom for seven years. She has always been a middle school teacher and enjoys the sense of humor and personalities of 6th, 7th and 8th graders.
Mrs. Lowe received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Washington and her Master’s Degree from CityUniversity in Bellevue. She completed post-graduate work at the University of Washington, Oregon State University and Pacific Lutheran University.
In her spare time, Mrs. Lowe and her family travel, camp, hike, and spend lots of time outdoors. Her hobbies include photography, reading, gardening and cooking with her husband and daughters.
