Explanation of Messages
No Announcement means schools are on regular schedule with normal bus service.
Limited Bus Transportation (alone or in conjunction with other messages) means that students in pre-designated areas frequently impassable during inclement weather will be picked up and dropped off at assigned emergency locations.
Schools Closed means all schools in the district are closed for one day an all school-related activities canceled.
Schools Open (X) Hour(s) Late means school start times will be delayed (usually 1-2 hours). Dismissal will be at regular time unless states otherwise.
Schools Open – Bus Service Limited Due to Road Conditions means that some services may be canceled. Students will be expected to attend classes.
School Will Dismiss (X) Hour(s) Early means snow or other conditions develop during the school day requiring early dismissal. Announcement will state if Regular or Limited bus stops are to be used.
